I'm currently looking for some relatives or family connections, my father being Daryl Howard Beaman. I am currently 27, Daryl is in his fifties or sixties now, and i know he hasn't shown any interest in locating any of the family. All I know of his father is that he was in the airforce, and I think the family was in california at one point in time, when my father was a child. Feel free to e-mail me if there is any one here that might possibly be related or have some information on locating possible relatives.

I am researching the Beeman lines in Bradford Co., PA & Luzerene & Wyoming Co., PA. I am puzzled about one Stephen Judson Beeman, who appears in the 1850 census of Bradford Co., Tuscarora twp., as age 65 (b. 1785) Kent,Litchfield, CT records list a Stephen Judson Beeman as born in 1785 to Timothy & Grace Bliss Beeman. So one would assume this is the same person listed as son of Timothy & Grace Beeman. However, in 1820 census there is a Stephen Beeman in Bradford Co Tuscarora Twp census, and in 1820 Luzerene Co., Braintrim Twp, Pa one Judson Beeman. These two counties and Twps are right next to each other but in different counties. It appears that these two people are separate individuals. Then in 1850 census for Tuscarora twp, Stephen is listed, and in Erie Co., Greenfield Twp, Judson Beeman is listed along with sons Alanson & Sylvanus, then he reappears in 1870 census living with daughter & son in law in Wilmot Twp, Bradford Co., Pa & died in 1875, buried in Laceyville, Wyoming Co., Pa.
Does anyone have any ideas on these two people that I have mentioned? Rootsweb lists Stephen Beemans father as Christian Beeman, while Stephen Judson Beemans father as Timothy Beeman. However the Stephen Beeman listed as son of Christian was born in 1763, and Stephen Judson was born in 1785.

I am looking for Charles Robertson, born aprox around 1945-1952. About 6'2 dark curly hair, at least he did have dark curly hair back in 1975. He might have lived in Glen Rock, Pa for a short time and other areas of Pa such as Hershey, York, ect. He knew a woman back in 1974 named Eleanor Comer-Carr, nickname "Dinky" or "Ellie". They were together for a short time. I was told that he had a sister or parents that use to live in York, Pa. If anyone knows him or has a picture of him then please let me know. There is a great possibility that I may be the product of him. I am not looking for anything out of him, just a picture and medical background would be nice.

I believe that my ancestors came from Somersetshire, England. One migrated to New York City and that line was the main one. For years, there were very few Beamans in the NYC telephone book. In fact, even today, there are very few in the various boroughs. If anyone thinks he's related, pleae let me know.

I am looking for information on Fred J. Beman/Beaman/Beeman of New York. I know that his mother's name was Sarah. I have been told that she was married to Sylvanus Sylvester Beman. I have Sarah and Fred J in the 1870 Census living in Pavillion, Genesee, NY but no father. Around 1900 Sarah was Sarah J Green. Fred married Harriet Olive Gibbs and they had 6 kids before Harriet died before 1900. Cynthia Mae Beman was my great grandmother. Does anyone have any info on this line of Beman/Beaman/Beeman family? Thanks so much!

I am Roderick T. Beaman. I was born in New York City in 1944 but spent more of my life in Rhocde Island. I also lived in Mississippi for a while. My son Stephen has a message in this site. I live in Jacksonville, Florida.

From what I understand, a direct ancestor had a tannery in NYC that today would constitute a good part of Central Park. Unfortunately, he had a problem with John Barleycorn and lost it to taxes. Then he moved to Astoria, Queens and the same thing happened. I just wish we still had a claim to any of that land.

Also, as I understand, one branch of our family moved to Cornell, Illinois and died out. Another to Minnesota and then to California.

There are several streets named Beaman around Falmouth, Masssachusetts but that's an unrelated branch.

Hello to all Beamans, Beemans, Bowmans, etc.

Wendy is one of those. I think she lived in Vancouver as a child. Thankyou for any help you can give to me.
