Fall Retreat at the Cove CampI spent a weekend with the kids at the Cove Camp in Asheville, NC back in October. This was a great three day trip to the mountain retreat run by the Billy Graham Evangelical Association. We had all kinds of activities, devotionals, music, and fellowship. We had a great weekend, not too cold. Unfortunately, not many of my pictures turned out. Here's a selection of the ones that did, mostly of me on the obstacle course:

Here's two of our gals on the archery range. Look's like they had fun! |

Here's where we had our morning meetings -- and also where we had a cool s'mores cookout our last night. There's the B-Man, always in the middle of things! |

There's Counselor Steve with his team after a victorious Nerf polo match. My team saved its energy for Adventure Ball (see below). |

Me doing my Tarzan impersonation on the obstacle course. Too bad the picture of me going down backwards, one-handed didn't turn out. |

Me and the guys on the spider web. |

The B-Man tackles The Wall! Unfortunately I fell a yard from the end. Nobody's perfect! |

This was a rope tunnel similar to the spider web. I had fun as always -- I'm actually tackling this one headfirst on my back! |

Me headed over the top with another look of intense determination on my face. "Work hard, play hard" I always say! |
